Kim-chi is spicy, pickled cabbage. A lot of people think it's delicious and it's probably the single greatest source of pride for all Korean people. Kim-chi is touted for it's incredible health benefits. The love for kim-chi is so strong that there is a
documentary being made in Korea about how wonderful kim-chi is and how it could be the cure for America's obesity epidemic.

The BBC also did a piece on it. Whenever my students and I are talking about the best aspects of Korea, kim-chi is always the first thing out of their mouths. The love for kim-chi is so strong, that a drink has been made from the leftover fermented juice.

not sure if I could drink it as a refreshing drink on a really hot day!
