Vacation Begins!

Savannah and I have finished our contracts in Korea and are leaving for China in about 1 hour. Our first stop will be Qingdao, a seaside city of 8 million people known as the "Swiss Alps of China." It was originally a German missionary post before being taken over by the Japanese during the early 20th century. After WWII, it once again changed hands and was used as a US navy base until finally being handed over to the Chinese government. We'll be there for 5 days before we head to Beijing. Several internet sites are blocked in China, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to update the blog or not. Anyways, here are some of my favorite pictures from our last days in Korea.
